Andrea Aguzzi EuroELSO Nursing Award 2022
The Steering Committee of EuroELSO in cooperation with the Bambino Gesù Children’s of Rome are issuing the Andrea Aguzzi EuroELSO Nursing Award.
Andrea Aguzzi was an ECMO nurse in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit of Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital, prematurely died at 34 years old with a motorbike accident while coming to work. This award is finalized to spread and increase the nursing research on extracorporeal life support in the world.
This award consists in the complete coverage of travel expenses, accommodation for 3 nights and free congress registration and will be assigned to the best nursing abstract which will be discussed during the EuroELSO congress in London.

Submitted applications are awarded on the basis of an evaluation process by the Scientific Committee.
