Educational Programme
The Educational Corners are located in Hall 4.
Simulation-based learning is frequently used in medical education and skills training, especially related to complex technologies like extracorporeal systems. Educational Corner during EuroELSO conference provides a near authentic experience and enhanced learning. Educational Corner simulations rely on scenarios similar to clinical practice in controlled environment without any negative consequences of an error.
The Educational Corners seats are limited per sessions and available on a first see – first serve basis.
Several Educational Corners are gratefully supported with training equipment of our industry partners.

Back by popular demand experienced both adult and pediatric teams are invited to WOW EuroELSO with the speed, agility and beauty of their ECMO cannulation.
Three world leading ECMO centres will demonstrate how they cannulate followed by a Q&A session giving a deep dive into the details and some hands on time for attendees. The winner will take home the coveted EuroELSO cannulation cup alongside the tremendous accolade of being Europe’s best cannulators.
Thursday, 7 May 2026: 15:45–16:15
Friday, 8 May 2026: 10:00–10:30 and 16:00–16:30
