Abstracts and their presentation have become an important and undeniable part of the EuroELSO Congress. As before we are looking forward to receiving abstracts from all over the world to get to know different strategies and treatments around the globe.
All accepted abstracts will be published in a special issue of the Perfusion Journal and presented at the EuroELSO Congress 2026 in Dublin/Ireland.
Authors of abstracts selected for oral presentations will be granted access to the NextGen Speakers’ Training Course, an online programme designed to help them prepare an optimal oral presentation for the EuroELSO Congress under the guidance of mentors and experts.

We are pleased to announce the EuroELSO 2026 Special Issue of the Perfusion Journal and invite you to contribute to this important collection with your manuscript. This issue will focus on current advancements, emerging trends, and innovations in extracorporeal devices, perfusion, cardiovascular support, and the use of artificial intelligence technologies.
We are especially seeking case reports and case series related to the topic: „ECPR Unexpected Survivors”. These cases should illustrate clinical innovations, multidisciplinary teamwork, ethical considerations, and lessons learned for future practice.
